Farmed in saltwater along the Malaysian straits. One of the most popular local choices of fish as the meat is mild and the texture is soft. Fresh supply available every day.
Frequently used in restaurants for thai-steamed fish, also used in banquets for their steamed fish dish.
Cooking methods are versatile as well – steaming, grilling, panfrying & baking

Many have concerns about farmed fish having a ‘soil’ smell & taste; this is common for fish that is farmed in shallow waters (e.g. farmed in Thailand, Vietnam or even in Singapore!) Our sea bass is farmed in the Malaysian sea with much more space and depth compared to farms in other countries.
