Ordering fish online from Ding Xin Seafood

How to Order Fish Online from Ding Xin Seafood: A Step by Step Guide

Browse the catalogue, choose your fish and how you want it cut, enter your postal code, pick a delivery day and check out. We weigh everything on delivery day, send you the exact total on WhatsApp, and you pay after. If you have not ordered from a wet market stall online before, this guide walks through what happens at each step, from choosing your first fish to unpacking the order at your door.

How does ordering work?

Ding Xin Seafood is a family fish stall at Jurong West market that delivers islandwide. Fish are prepared to the selected cut and weighed on delivery day, so the price you see online is based on the listed size and your final total can be slightly more or less. You pay only after we tell you the confirmed amount.

Step 1: Choose your fish and how you want it cut

Start from what you are cooking. Our fillet comparison covers twelve fish by taste, texture and dish. The fish cuts guide explains when a steak, tail or whole fish is better value than a fillet. If you know the fish by its Chinese or Malay name, the fish names guide maps it to our product.

On each product page, choose the size and the cut you want, for example "Standard (250 to 300G)" and "Child Chunks (cubes)." Not every product offers every option; the page shows what is available. If you want something the options do not cover, such as a butterfly cut or fins trimmed, you can write it in the order notes at checkout or message us on WhatsApp.

Step 2: Add items to the cart

Click "Add to cart" on each product page. You can add fish, prawns, clams, and fruit and vegetables to the same order. There is no minimum order for delivery, but delivery is free from $75 and $10 below that. First order? The code FIRSTORDER takes $5 off an order of $65 or more, once per customer.

Step 3: Enter your postal code and choose a delivery day

In the cart, enter your six digit Singapore postal code. The cart shows which days we deliver to your area: the West gets deliveries Wednesday to Sunday, the North on Thursday and Saturday, and the South and East on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Pick a date from the calendar. Order by 10 PM and the earliest available day is usually the next delivery day for your area. Full details: delivery days, areas and charges.

Step 4: Choose how the order is packed

The cart asks you to choose between a plastic bag with an ice pack and a foam box with ice (no extra cost). If someone is home between 11 AM and 4 PM to take the order in, the bag works; choose the foam box if you will be out. For fillets, you can also choose vacuum sealing for $0.10 per fillet.

Step 5: Check out

At checkout, confirm your address and any order notes (for example, how you want a whole fish prepared). You do not pay at this point. The site accepts CDC vouchers at checkout; all other payment happens after weighing.

Step 6: We prepare and weigh your order

On delivery day, the stall prepares the selected fish cuts and confirms the weights. Because fish sizes vary from day to day, the total can be slightly more or less than what you saw online. We send you the exact confirmed total on WhatsApp before delivery, so you know what you are paying before the order arrives.

If something you ordered is not up to our standard that day, we will tell you and suggest a better option or move your delivery to another day.

Step 7: Pay after you receive the total

Once you have the confirmed total on WhatsApp, pay by PayNow or PayLah to 9674 5776, bank transfer, or CDC vouchers (soft or hard copy). You are never charged more than the weight you receive.

Step 8: Receive and store your order

Delivery is between 11 AM and 4 PM. Unpack the order as soon as it arrives. Move the seafood into the fridge or freezer promptly and follow the storage guidance; our storage guide explains how to freeze, thaw safely and handle vacuum sealed packs.
